PAINTINGS
I work between acrylic and oil and focus on using paint to capture and exaggerate my environment. I use intensely saturated colors to create a new world.By distorting these environments I hope to highlight connection and disconnection.
DRAWINGS
Drawing is my first love in art. I draw everyday and it is where all of my ideas are born. Through creating a repetitive practice of drawing I find myself discovering ideas and refining my personal “style”. Drawing is where I create the world in which my creative practice lives.
SCULPTURE AND MIXED MEDIA
Discovering ways to experiment with materiality to push other aspects of my creative practice. From making giant wooden spikes to filming video projects on climbing trees this section is where I truly experiment with my creative practice and redefine what that includes.
